…Calls On Security Agents To Fish Out Killers
The Chairman, Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah has described the Omoku massacre, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the State in the early hours of January 1, 2018 as barbaric, unfortunate, callous and “a monumental loss to the ONELGA people and Rivers State.”
The deeply saddened Rivers PDP Chairman who lost a total of six persons including his in-law, Augustine Ordu and 3 children as well as two other relations, condemned the killings and described it as “barbarism displayed by callous killers, who gunned down defenceless people who were returning from church.
Bro Obuah while calling on security agents in the State to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime are promptly apprehended and brought to justice said “This is sacrilegious, totally unacceptable. We can’t allow this happen in Omoku. The security agents should ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are promptly apprehended and brought to justice.
He also commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his timely intervention, which would restore lasting peace in the area.
Bro Obuah condoled with the families of the deceased and prayed that “our good Lord brings the much-needed comfort and peace to the deceased families and also grant the souls of those killed a peaceful rest.”
