N-Power has on their social media channels where they are doing a great job to respond to complaints from applicants on a 24/7 basis announced the presume date for the pre-selection and physical verification exercise for the 2017 batch.
The N-Power programme is linked to the Federal Government’s policies in the economic, employment and social development arenas. N-Power addresses the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.
The first batch list of N-Power volunteers was released last year and about 200 000 graduates were successfully engaged by he government. The N-power second batch list will soon be released online were 300 000 more graduates will be engaged.
Pre-Selection: After the test assessment which was closed on the 31st of August 2017 at 11:59 pm, successful applicants will be shortlisted. Such applicants will proceed to their local government area of resident for physical verification.
Physical Verification and Selection: Pre-selected applicants will under physical verification exercise where they will be screened. Screening includes; certificates of birth, local government of origin, educational certificate and possible NYSC certificate for HND and degree holders. Be sure these things are ready before then.
Deployment: After the physical verification exercise, selected applicants will be deployed to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) where they will commence work immediately and will be paid routinely on a monthly basis the sum of N30 000 only.
Commencement of Pre-Selection: The Pre-selection Stage will likely commence at the END of September, 2017. When this stage commences, the list of pre-selected applicants will also be released to the public.
N/B: Please regards any links sent to you by some persons concerning the shortlisted names, N-Power has boldly stated that, the pre-selection exercise hasn’t commenced yet. If it commences, it will be made known to the public.
Currently, only the 2016 batch are being attended to. They are distributing devices and sorting out payment issues for the 2016 batch. If you haven’t received your device yet, please be patience for it will get to you. It is state by state. And please do not pay any money to collect tags or your device, N-Power have clearly stated that the device collection is free of charge.
