Calabar South Gate: Four killed in renewed gang war

In what seems like a renewed gang melee, four persons have been reported to have died at Ekpo Abasi axis of Calabar South, Cross River State between dreaded members of Skylo and Scorpion.

The first as reported by CrossRiverWatch was on a Sunday night at Ekpo Abasi which claimed the life of a Scorpion gang member. The remains of the unknown Scorpion member was taken the next day by the Police. The second killing took place on Tuesday. The third and fourth was the next day being Wednesday

The renewed war according to a reliable sources began on Sunday night when a hit squad of Scorpion was on the move to repay Skylo for the death of some of its members killed in the last gang war which distorted law and order in Calabar South for about four months.

One of the Scorpion member killed whose death was to be retaliated is one late Koksy who was killed at Ewa Ekeng Road where he operates a car wash.

Many efforts of reaching the Police spokesperson, ASP Irene Ugbo proved abortive at the time of filing this report.
