They wanted to kill me, use propaganda to cover up – Odok

Joseph Odok, Social Change Agent who was involved in an attempted assassination that failed, finally speaks up, but now with a louder voice.

The suspended UNICAL Lecturer was mum for about 6 days after being attacked by hired killers at Parliamentary, Calabar, Cross River State. But the Social Activist finally speaks, following some social media jamboree.

His words: “They killed Etta Nkim and used propaganda to cover up with a fiction that the police shot at him in attempt to rescue him from kidnappers.

“They wanted to kill me and used propaganda to cover up with a false story that I was involved in Visa Racketeering, I am alive and will embarrass them with the truth.

“Cross River State must arise to demand that culprits be arrested. The DG Homeland Security purportedly from the government of the State must remain remanded in prison until investigation is concluded. I am ready to present myself before any law enforcement agency. My blood and innocence will purify Cross River State from desperado.

“I am alive to demand for justice, I know the pressure may be too much on the commissioner of police but we must go beyond State security apparatus until justice is done. Only few arrest have been made so far. There is more to be done if the investigation is not compromised because the kingpins of my assassination plot are yet to be arrested. I was trailed for six different days and my statement has identified names of suspects yet to be arrested. I will talk more when occasion demands, anxiously on the watch on how far security agencies will go.

“No more hiding place for sponsors of assassins”, Joseph Odok, Social Change Agent fumed.
