On my interview with him and what he wrote on his Facebook time line, he narrated his story as follows :
“‘My visit to the tomorrow People”‘
In the spirit of service to Fatherland and our efforts towards nation building, yours Sincerely on the 26th day of November 2015 visited The AMAOZARA MIGRANT FISHERMEN PRIMARY SCHOOL, located in Afikpo North L.G.A, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
Personal Community Development Initiatives remain a core of the National Youth Service Scheme, it is predicated upon this fact that this visit became necessary. This visit is part of the build up to meeting the identified and felt needs of the aforementioned school. Upon interactions with community members, staff and pupils of this Migrant community yours sincerely have discovered that the following essentials are lacking and to a greater extent have affected learning;
*Lack of portable drinking water for pupils
*poor toileting system
*lack of learning/educational materials
*inadequate classroom desks
*lack of basic sporting materials/facilities
*lack of school sandals/torn school uniforms or non at all
*lack of first aid materials/box etc.
Dear Friends these challenges appears to be numerous but there are surmountable and will bring smiles to these ‘tomorrow people’ in the words of my Leader Barr. Dr. Dorncklaimz Enamhe. With your contributory ideas and supports we can make a mark in the lives of these ones.
