Beware of Counterfeits Money in circulation as a Guy Lost N10,000 at Zenith Bank in Calabar

After a long awaiting queue at Zenith Bank, Highway branch, Calabar, a young guy regretted why he even came to the bank for the first place.

Although, today wasn’t Monday neither is it Friday as the bank was filled as the aforementioned days. We formed a queue that almost burst out to the Highways just to deposit money. When it came to a guy’s turn immediately in front of me to deposit money from his organization using a customized teller. The banker discovered first a N1,000 note that was fake, then the 2nd and 3rd one. The guy was about to argue, the banker then flashed them using the Mercury lamp with the non-counterfeited one. The Bank roared, then again the banker removed ten N1,000 notes again from his about N50,0000 he was holding to deposit. The banker to him again should I confirm them? The guy said yes and there it was as the long crowd roared even louder this time around. Well, that’s was it, 10K gone.

The people almost flushed the guy with their series of questions and attacks, but the guys explanations spared his blushes. The guy now added more money from his pocket to pay for some tellers while he went home with some.

Do you suspect this guy to be a counterfeiters or he’s just the unlucky type according to his story?
Please examine every money you get from people when doing business with them especially the Big Notes to avoid risking it all, thank you.
