Dedication Service of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency 2017 was held yesterday at the Permanent Site of the Agency at Moore Road under the facilitation of E.U SIGN the Immunization Governance Partners.
Speaking on the theme “Who is on the Lord Side” Rev Nsa Eyo drew his message from Exodus 32 and Psalm 19: 7. He said it was high time the Agency drew closer to God for divine intervention. He said 2017 is a promising year to the primary health system of the State. Citing the story of the Golden Calf and how Moses led the Israelites out of their slavery in Egypt through the wilderness to Mount Sinai, “the mountain of God” admonishing Christians to draw closer to God for his divine direction. He said God imparted his knowledge on them to successfully led the children of Israel out of captivity.
Describing civil servants’ roles in the State as critical in view of their responsibilities to interpret and implement the visions of the government, Rev. Nsa prayed God to grant the Staff his divine grace and wisdom to enable them pull through the challenges and carry out their functions effectively, while also enjoining them to put God first in all their dealings and support their Director General who he noted was divinely placed by God to revitalize Primary Health Care in CRS.
The DG, Dr Betta Edu had earlier expressed gratitude to God for keeping everyone alive to see the new year and prayed for the fulfillment of his purpose in the Agency in 2017. She said by the dedication of the Agency, ita running, its permanent site and the staff to God, significant things will begin to happen in the Agency.
The DG also commended the Staff for their support and cooperation , noting that their dedication and diligence enabled the Agency to record significant strides in 2016, and assured of continuous enabling environment for efficient service delivery.
The Agency prayed specifically for the Government of Cross River State, the Governor Sen. Ben Ayade, His beloved wife Dr Linda Ayade and other members of the Exco; declaring 2017 as year of abundance for the state.
On his part , the facilitator of the prayers Dr Ikpeme Bassey of EU SIGN expressed delight for the impressive turn-out of Staff to fellowship for the peace and progress of the Agency, thanking the DG for her motherly disposition , and pledged continuous prayers for the betterment of the Agency.
The interception prayer was led by DG, Dr Betta Edu and Director Administration, Randy Otu while Bible reading was taken from the book of Exodus 32: 19-29 by Dr Iwara Iwara, Director Community Health & Roll Back Malaria.
The service also featured intercessory prayers, song ministration, praise and worship by the staff of the Agency. It was a great time in his presence!
