Kogi Governor directs immediate employment a Cross Riverian

The breeze that carries favour has started blowing through Cross River State as a Cross Riverian has been favoured in another land due to his determination and faithfulness for work.

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello Monday in Lokoja has given directives that a Cross Riverian Osang Moses be immediately employed into the state’s civil service following his commitment to teaching students at Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) Adankolo for four years after he completed his National Youth Service Scheme in 2012.

Governor Bello gave the directive during an unscheduled inspection tour of GDSS where the administrators mentioned to him the case of Moses who taught Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as a Youth Corper and decided to stay back in Lokoja because he was passionate about teaching with the school retaining him as a part time staff paid from the Parents Teachers Association coffers in recognition of the enormous value he added to the school.

According to a post on Facebook by his media aide, Petra Onyegbule, Bello said Moses should have his employment regularised with the Teaching Service Commission and placed on appropriate grade level.
