Ayade Flags-off Green Police to commence operations today, hands Over Vehicles to them with the statutory responsibilities of enforcing Cross River State sanitation laws and to police the forest from illegal deforestation, while enhancing tree planting to stabilize our ecosystem and attract funds from global donor regimes (Carbon Credit).

Their operations commences immediately with specific commitment and obligation of ensuring a green, clean and fresh Cross River.

The governor said, “to those decorating our names, you can see that we are fulfilling our own part of the social contract arrangement. All that we’ve promised shall be accomplished, maximally.”

According to Eval Asikong, Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor Ayade on Social Media, they are keeping promises as they said, and to this extent, Governor Ayade have really shown himself as one of the best governor’s in the country amongst the rest.

Since the inauguration of the Green Police few months ago, everything went aflame and later dimmed only for Cross Riverians and Nigerians to start critising the so called digital Governor. But today, Ayade has really shown that his signature projects are here to stay and be completed bit by bit.

In the meantime, the flagging-off is currently on going at the U J Esuene stadium and lots of joy has arose amongst the recruited officers. Stay tuned, for we will be bringing you more later on.
